About the Practice

Liberation Psychological Services, PLLC is a mental health practice founded by Dr. Jasmin Jones, a NYS licensed psychologist. The mission of Liberation Psychological Services is to provide culturally-responsive, trauma-informed mental health services to members of the Greater Syracuse community.

Psychological liberation is at the heart of our mission. This includes breaking through the external barriers that prevent marginalized communities from accessing psychological services. We believe that mental wellness is our birthright; it’s not reserved for the privileged. We all deserve to live harmoniously and fulfilled. We all deserve to feel empowered in our daily lives. We all deserve access to guidance and support that will move us in that direction.

"Both your patience and persistence when assisting me with my wide array of obstacles slowly, but surely, gave me the confidence to step back, take a breath, assess my situations, and actually give myself what I need to solve these obstacles."
